US raid: Tate brothers nabbed as UK charges pile up

Andrew Tate, a polarising internet personality, and his brother Tristan are now locked up by U.S. Marshals as British authorities waxed up a fresh set of crimes.

In a joint filing, the Crown Prosecution Service said Andrew faces seven more rape charges and other accusations linked to sex trafficking and child pornography. Tristan is charged with one sexual‑assault case, two rape counts and three trafficking‑for‑sex allegations.

These disturbing accusations span from July 2010 to August 2017, involving seven alleged victims. The brothers have publicly denied wrongdoing.

According to CPS head Malcolm McHaffie, “the new charging decisions come after receiving additional evidence from Bedfordshire Police.” The U.S. side confirmed the arrests were “pursuant to extradition proceedings” and they are seeking extradition to the U.K. court.

In May 2025, prosecutors laid out 21 charges that the brothers will face in the U.K. – offences said to have occurred between 2012 and 2016. The legal loop is still ongoing and updates will roll out as the case develops.
