The plan, presented by Trump’s Board of Peace, envisions a cease‑fire, full disarmament of Hamas, troop pull‑out and reconstruction of Gaza. Hamas says it will disarm only if Israel ends all aggression in Gaza. Netanyahu’s stance comes amid Israel’s ongoing strikes in the region and before upcoming national elections, where he faces pressure from far‑right allies to ditch the plan. Israel Rejects Trump’s 15‑Point Gaza Plan

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel will not pull its forces from Gaza until Hamas is "genuinely" disarmed. The statement was made after former President Donald Trump released a 15‑point Gaza peace draft that promised the complete disarmament of Hamas and other armed groups.

According to the draft, Israel would withdraw troops, rebuild Gaza and establish the Board of Peace to oversee implementation. Hamas, however, insists it will only hand over its heavy weapons if Israel stops all aggression and withdraws from Gaza.

Israel has continued to conduct air strikes on Gaza since agreeing to a ceasefire in October last year. Netanyahu’s decision comes just months before national elections, at a time when far‑right allies are calling for a new cabinet vote and a reversal of the Gaza plan.
