In the West Bank village of Qusra, Israeli settlers surrounded homes on Sunday, cutting electricity and water. The Israeli military’s subsequent operation forced about a dozen Palestinian families to leave their houses, with soldiers later using some vacated homes as barracks.

The settlers’ blockade prompted the IDF to intervene, deploying tear gas, stun grenades, and security forces to dismantle the siege. Residents reported weapons and cameras used in confrontations, while the Army stated it aimed to protect locals.

Local officials declared Qusra a closed military zone. Despite the IDF’s claim of protection, images show soldiers occupying Palestinian houses and ongoing disruption of daily life.

United Nations figures show 76 Palestinians – including 18 children – have been killed in the West Bank this year, with many victims linked to settler aggression and forced displacement.
