On November 1, 2026 the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) supplied safe drinking water to 3,480 people in Yemen’s Taiz Governorate. The delivery took place through 13 distribution points in Al‑Mudhaffar District, providing water to displaced families, affected communities and local host communities.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the supplies were part of an emergency response project designed to improve living conditions and strengthen community resilience in the war‑torn region.
KSrelief’s effort represents Saudi Arabia’s commitment to humanitarian assistance in Yemen, aiming to ensure access to safe drinking water and create favorable conditions for recovery across the governorate.
By reaching thousands of residents, the project aims to alleviate one of the immediate needs in an area where water scarcity has worsened due to ongoing conflict.
Stakeholders say the distribution not only provides essential hydration but also supports broader recovery efforts by improving health and safety among vulnerable populations.
With this action, KSrelief continues its role in delivering critical aid and bolstering local resilience amid Yemen’s protracted humanitarian crisis.
