Blue Angels Jet's Low Pass Shakes Pensacola Beach
During a local air‑show in Pensacola Beach, a US Navy Blue Angels fighter jet performed an unusually low flyby over a packed crowd, blowing umbrellas and beach chairs into the air.
Video footage shared on social media captured the moment the jet swooped just metres above the beach, sparking cheers from the on‑lookers. Views from the crowd showed bright orange and blue planes cutting across a turquoise sea backdrop.
Officials from the elite Blue Angels squadron said they are reviewing the incident after the aircraft flew lower than standard profiles, a move that "resulted in a disturbance on the beach that affected civilian chairs and umbrellas," per US media reports.
After the flyby, no injuries were reported. One beachgoer told the media that the experience was "amazing," praising the spectacle.
