Umm Al Emarat Park in Abu Dhabi has announced a year‑long series of cultural events that highlight Emirati heritage and welcome visitors to experience tradition and modern art.
Designed with the vision of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan to protect nature and preserve heritage, the park fuses traditional Islamic garden layouts with contemporary architecture, green spaces, shaded walkways, and water features.
The park’s heritage focus includes daily falconry demonstrations, giving visitors an intimate look at one of the country’s oldest cultural practices.
National celebrations such as Eid Al Etihad and Emirati Women’s Day are marked with programmes that highlight Emirati values, women’s contributions, and a collective sense of pride.
During Ramadan 2026, the park presented activities inspired by the holy month’s traditions and local customs, inviting families to share iftar experiences.
The January Milsna initiative, in partnership with the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, introduced visitors to traditional Emirati life and cultural heritage.
The park’s international programme features the Korean Festival, offering live performances, cultural workshops, and K‑pop displays that complement the local heritage narrative.
From 30 October to 1 November 2026, a temporary Guggenheim Abu Dhabi programme will run, giving visitors a chance to engage with contemporary art installations.
The Abu Dhabi Festival will host the Middle East’s first outdoor children’s biennale from 6 November to 6 December 2026, celebrating creativity and nature.
By blending education with recreation, Umm Al Emarat Park invites younger generations to explore Emirati identity and the world’s diverse cultures in an engaging, nature‑rich setting.
