On Thursday, European airlines received bomb threats on several flights, but every aircraft landed safely without incident. According to Xinhua and Bulgarian media, passengers on planes flying from Copenhagen, Madrid and London to Sofia learned of suspicious threats while still airborne.

Flight crews handled the situation in compliance with aviation security protocols, and each of the three flights touched down at Sofia’s airport without any safety breaches. Xinhua reported that the threats were taken seriously, but no evidence of a device was found.

Meanwhile, a LOT Polish Airlines flight from Warsaw was stopped at Brussels Airport after a suspicious report, as confirmed by Belgian news outlet BRUZZ and citing the Belga News Agency. The flight was diverted and cleared for a safe landing. No bombs or injuries were reported.

Security teams on all four aircraft monitored the situation and coordinated with ground authorities. Passengers were reassured and reassigned as needed, and the airlines maintained routine operations afterward.

The incidents underscore how airlines and airports manage potential threats, ensuring that even when alarms are triggered, proper protocols keep air travel safe.
