The incident happened on Wednesday morning at 11:08 local time, just north of Braniewo. Poland’s radar spotted the aircraft, which dipped about 300 metres (328 yards) into its territory before disappearing.
The Polish army said the move was a “test” of its air‑defence readiness, amid a flare‑up of hybrid attacks across NATO borders. Russian officials have not yet commented.
