He admitted to eight charges of failing to report potential terrorist financing, connecting him with Nazem Ahmad, a suspected financier for the militant group Hezbollah, which is designated a terrorist organization by the UK and the US.
Prosecutor Lyndon Harris disclosed that Ojiri sold artworks worth around £140,000 ($186,000) to Ahmad between October 2020 and January 2022, fully aware of his suspicious ties.
