Chris Brown, the Grammy-winning musician behind hits like "Freaky Friday" and "Turn Up the Music," has been granted bail by a London court following charges of an alleged assault at Tape nightclub in Mayfair. The 36-year-old was charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm during an incident where he reportedly attacked a music producer with a tequila bottle.

Brown, who was arrested last week and had initially been denied bail, will pay a £5 million security fee to ensure he returns for court appearances. He celebrated his release on Instagram, saying, "From the cage to the stage!" His upcoming world tour will kick off in Amsterdam on June 8, with additional shows planned across the UK.

At Southwark Crown Court, bail was awarded under strict conditions, which include surrendering his passport, residing at a specified address, and being prohibited from contacting the alleged victim or visiting the nightclub where the incident took place.

Brown's next court appearance is scheduled for June 20, aligned with his tour dates in Cardiff and London. He will be joined in court by his co-defendant, Omololu Akinlolu, a performer known as HoodyBaby.
