Louvre Reopens Gallery of Apollo After Jewelry Heist
The Louvre museum in Paris has opened its famed Gallery of Apollo on Wednesday, nine months after a daring heist saw millions of euros worth of jewels seized.
Visitors can now walk through the space that once housed the French crown jewels, though no gems are on display.
The robbery began on 19 October when masked thieves used a truck fitted with mechanical ladders to climb through a balcony and breach the gallery.
Police say four suspects have been arrested, but the stolen items still have not been recovered.
