In a tearful post on X, former husband Wladimir Klitschko – who shared an 11‑year‑old daughter, Kaya – said:

"I am profoundly shocked and grieving over the tragic loss of Hayden. The world lost a talented, brilliant woman who left so early."

The boxer added, "Hayden was an important part of my life and a loving mother to Kaya. Her talent and spirit will never be forgotten."

Other fans and co‑stars have honored her memory as well. Connie Britton, who performed alongside Panettiere on "Nashville," posted photos and wrote, "Bursting with brilliance, shining so bright. I have no words for this sad song. Just heartbreak." Masi Oka, a former co‑star in "Heroes," said:

"I am absolutely heart‑broken. Hayden’s beautiful spirit and joy radiated everywhere she went. Rest in peace, Hayden."

Panettiere’s early career had begun with child roles in films such as "Remember the Titans" and "Raising Helen," but it was her TV work that catapulted her to stardom. Despite her success, she struggled with postpartum depression after giving birth to Kaya in 2015, which led to periods of heavy drinking. Her husband helped her seek treatment, but the heartbreak of separating from Kaya’s daily life weighed heavily on her.

On set of her final feature, "Sleepwalker," her co‑star Justin Chatwin later revealed that she appeared noticeably different and seemed "lonely." He noted that the film industry takes a lot from its young talent.

The news of Panettiere’s passing has left fans, friends and family across the world in mourning. Her legacy as a bright, charismatic talent continues to inspire new generations of actors and viewers.
