Explosion at Kyiv warehouse forces nearly 400 evacuees

A Russian strike on a weapons depot close to a residential area in Kyiv has killed 37 people and sent authorities to evacuate almost 400 residents to safer zones. The blast, captured on video, left thick smoke and a huge crater where the depot once stood.

President Volodymyr Zelensky blasted the attack as "terrible negligence" on those who stored explosives near civilians, and investigative authorities have begun a probe into the safety protocols.

Residents are still waiting for clear instructions on who must move next, while Ukrainian forces patrol the surrounding area to prevent further attacks.
