Pop icon Ariana Grande has decided to step back from the spotlight after concluding her Eternal Sunshine tour.

Officially, the 33‑year‑old singer will withdraw from public appearances and will no longer join the West End revival of Stephen Sondheim’s musical Sunday in the Park with George slated to open at the Barbican in 2027.

The move comes as Grande faces ongoing media scrutiny about her appearance and health—particularly following her new album "Petal." A spokesperson told People that Grande wants to finish the tour on a high note and then rest, citing the demands of a physically intensive show.

The musical will still go on, but no replacement has been announced yet. With her last tour stop on 1 September in London, Grande’s fans are left with an uncertain but hopeful future.
